Basic Rates for Ensembles
Solo
$200 for ONE hour, $75 each additional hour
Duo
$550 for TWO hours, $150 for each additional hour
Trio
$800 for TWO hours, $225 for each additional hour
Quartet
$1050 for TWO hours, $600 for each additional hour
Larger Ensembles
Larger ensembles are charged at $275 per musician for TWO hours, and $75 for each additional hour
Additional Information
Travel Fee
Travel outside a 60-mile radius of Oakland will be charged an additional travel fee based on distance and current gas prices. Typical additional fees would be $25-50 extra per musician. Please ask for a quote.
Large Instrument Cartage Fee
Some instruments, like harp and piano, require an additional cartage fee. Please ask for a quote.
Arranging and Rehearsal Fee
Arrangements of special music may require a small arranging fee, usually no more than $25-50. Rehearsals with singers or instrumentalists provided by client will be charged at normal performance rate. Usually rehearsals can be 15-30 minutes prior to the event.
Chairs and Shade
Client must provide a shaded, moisture-free area and appropriate number of armless chairs.
Cancellation Policy
Events missed due to “acts of God” may be rescheduled for another date. Cancellations made up to one week before a scheduled event will be charged the deposit. Cancellations less than one week before an event will be charged the full fee.
Deposit
We require a signed contract and 50% non-refundable deposit to reserve the day for your event.
Billed Time
Billing time starts at the start time in the contract. There is no set-up fee and no discount for travel between venues.
Breaks
The musicians will take a 10 minute break for each hour played.
